Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our landscaping business in Harrisonburg VA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening, and be committed to maintaining beautiful and healthy outdoor spaces. This role offers an opportunity to supervise a professional team focused on quality landscape care and environmental stewardship. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting Use hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently Conduct lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, and weed control Maintain the health and aesthetics of gardens through pruning, mulching, and planting Support general landscaping projects including soil preparation and landscape design implementation Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines during all outdoor activities Helping to do snow removal when needed during the winter months. Requirements Prior experience or training in landscape maintenance and management. Ability to operate mowers, blowers, trimmers, and gardening equipment safely Strong work ethic with attention to detail in outdoor environments Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Valid driver's license is a plus for transporting equipment or materials. Must be comfortable driving trucks while hauling trailers.
