Job Description
Position Summary The Radar Supervisor oversees daily radar operations, ensures accurate detection and tracking of targets, and leads a team of radar technicians or operators. This role is responsible for maintaining operational readiness, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and coordinating with internal and external agencies to support mission objectives. Key Responsibilities Supervise Radar Operations
- Manage radar system activity, monitor performance, and ensure continuous, reliable detection and tracking. Ensure Accuracy in Time Sheets and Project Charge Numbers
- Maintain precise and timely recording of work hours and project charge allocations to support operational and financial accountability. Team Leadership
- Train, mentor, and evaluate radar operators; assign duties and maintain staffing coverage for all shifts. System Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Oversee diagnostics, identify performance issues, and coordinate repairs or maintenance with technical support teams. Data Accuracy & Reporting
- Validate radar data, ensure proper logging, and prepare operational reports for leadership. Compliance & Safety
- Enforce operational standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement
- Recommend upgrades, procedural changes, and training enhancements to improve radar efficiency and reliability.
