Job Description
An established senior care organization is seeking a skilled leader to oversee the full operations of an assisted living community. This role is responsible for setting priorities, executing operational plans, and ensuring an exceptional environment for residents and team members alike. The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded leadership approach—balancing day-to-day operations, financial management, compliance, and team development—while cultivating a culture rooted in service, accountability, and performance. Key Responsibilities Direct all aspects of community operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality of services Partner with leaders across clinical care, culinary services, maintenance, life enrichment, and admissions to drive performance Support census growth and resident retention through local engagement, relationship-building, and collaboration with sales efforts Oversee fiscal performance including budget planning, monitoring, and financial accountability Recruit, develop, and retain leadership talent within the community Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards Promote a culture focused on teamwork, safety, continuous improvement, and ownership Act as a primary liaison for residents, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies Preferred Background Proven leadership experience in assisted living / senior living Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing residential care settings Track record of building effective teams and developing leaders Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead confidently Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and positive resident outcomes
