WHO WE NEED

The Parking Operations Supervisor will provide support and assistance to the leadership and operational oversight of a city's parking accounts. This position will be responsible for identifying revenue-generating locations, maintaining client relationships, and assisting in the management of full-time and part-time employees. Assist with the daily operations of the parking system, including monitoring lots, dispatching team members, and assisting customers. Possibly oversee a small team of direct reports. Contribute to the planning, development, and administration of off-street parking facilities and programs. Participate in long-range planning activities for public parking facilities and parking areas. Help recommend and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery. Support the management team in selecting, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating staff engaged in operations. Assist in monitoring expenditures and communicating budget variances to leadership. Promote safety by adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining audit controls within the unit.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SKILLS

Ability to function independently as well as work well with others. Excellent verbal/written and presentation skills. Exceptional customer service abilities. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrative ability to supervise and properly manage staff. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school education and 5 years relevant experience.
