Ridge Top Exteriors is looking for an experienced roofing or exterior construction professional to oversee residential projects throughout the Fox Valley. This isn't an installation position. You'll be in the field, but your job is to lead—keeping projects moving, crews coordinated, customers informed, and quality where it needs to be. Ridge Top Exteriors is looking for an experienced roofing or exterior construction professional to oversee residential projects throughout the Fox Valley. This isn't an installation position. What You'll Be Doing:

You'll take ownership of residential roofing and exterior projects from the field, serving as the connection between our crews, customers, and operations team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing roofing and exterior remodeling projects throughout the Fox Valley Coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, materials, and project schedules Inspecting work for quality and ensuring company standards are met Keeping jobsites safe and maintaining OSHA compliance Communicating with homeowners and providing project updates Troubleshooting field issues and keeping projects moving Coordinating permits and inspections as needed Helping with jobsite logistics, including materials and dump trailers when necessary

What We're Looking For:

We're less concerned with whether you've held the exact title of "Field Manager" and more interested in whether you know the work and are ready to lead it. Ideally, you bring: 3+ years of residential roofing, exterior remodeling, or construction experience Strong roofing knowledge; siding and/or window experience is a plus Experience leading crews, running jobs, or coordinating residential construction projects The ability to recognize quality workmanship—and address it when something isn't right Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Confidence working with homeowners, subcontractors, and field crews A valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to back a truck and haul a dump trailer Willingness to travel to projects within approximately a 50-mile radius You'll also need to be comfortable working outdoors, climbing ladders and accessing residential roofs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally working an evening or Saturday during peak production periods.
