Job Description

Job Summary Loof's Landscaping and Snow Removal Services LLC is seeking a high-energy, hands-on Operations & Sales Manager to oversee our year-round landscaping, hardscaping, and snow removal service lines. This is a working-manager role where you will directly manage a field crew of 8 employees, drive revenue through client sales, lead strict training programs, and spearhead our new operational software rollout.

Winter Snow Operations:
Active, in-the-truck field participation is required during all snow events. You must plow, salt, and work directly alongside the crew. Remote management from home during storm events is not permitted. Key Responsibilities Winter Snow Operations (High Priority) Monitor weather patterns, radar, and local alerts across our entire service footprint, including Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, and Green Bay . Lead and actively participate in field operations during snow events, including operating plow trucks, salt spreaders, and heavy equipment. Work directly in the field alongside crews during winter storms to guarantee efficient, safe, and high-quality route clearance. Oversee 24/7 winter weather dispatching, real-time routing logistics, and service verification across all covered cities. Team Management & Strict Training Directly manage, schedule, and hold accountable an initial field crew of 8 employees. Run mandatory, hands-on safety, equipment operation, and hardscaping training for all staff. Conduct strict field audits and performance evaluations for all new hires and existing crews. Lead the implementation of our new field management and routing software across the entire team. Sales & Client Relations Estimate, bid, and sell landscaping, hardscaping, and winter snow contracts. Meet with residential and commercial clients in Fond du Lac and surrounding areas. Upsell existing maintenance clients on landscape enhancement and hardscape projects. Hardscaping & Landscape Oversight Oversee construction of patios, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor living spaces. Enforce strict quality, level, and structural integrity standards on all builds. Ensure accurate material measuring, staging, and site prep to minimize waste.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of proven management experience in operations and sales within the green/snow industries.
Logistics & Weather Tracking:
Proven ability to monitor regional weather patterns and mobilize crews across multiple distinct markets ( Sheboygan and Manitowoc up through Green Bay ).
Language:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to support crew communication and training.
Snow Skills:
Advanced proficiency operating commercial plow trucks, salt spreaders, and related winter equipment.
Field Expertise:
Advanced hands-on knowledge of hardscape construction and proper building techniques.
Sales Skills:
Strong background in estimating, client bidding, and closing contracts.
Software Skills:
Confident adopting, building processes in, and teaching new tech platforms.
Licensing:
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Schedule:
Ability to commit to a minimum of 45 hours per week, with open/flexible hours required during snow events. Benefits Competitive base salary of $70,000 - $100,000 (45-hour structural expectation). Discretionary bonus based on an end-of-season success and performance review. 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO). Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
