Administrative Specialist Job Duties:
The Director of Basketball Operations plays a vital leadership role in advancing a successful and student‑centered Division I men's basketball program at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position oversees the daily operations of the program, including scheduling, recruiting logistics, team travel, budget coordination, and game‑day operations, while ensuring full compliance withNCAA, UW
System, and State of Wisconsin policies. In partnership with coaches, athletics staff, campus colleagues, alumni, and donors, this role supports fundraising, communication, and community engagement efforts that strengthen the program and the University. Manage the day-to-day operations of the men's basketball program including scheduling and logistics. Assist with the on campus recruitment of student-athletes, including but not limited to: development of recruiting materials to provide prospective student athletes, official and unofficial visits, breakdown of video provided by prospective student athletes. Duties will be performed within the scope of the rules and regulations required by the NCAA. Assist in fundraising and communication for the men's basketball program and athletics department including assisting with donor and alumni communication and updates; attend fundraising events as requested by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics and/or his/her designee. Prepare team travel expense reports that include required documentation for all expenses incurred and track expenses to ensure actual expenses stay within the team travel budget. Coordinate travel arrangements for all men's basketball away games including, but not limited to, bussing, airfare, hotels, and food. Responsible for working with Associate AD for Business on all budget and travel operations/purchases for program. Organize and communicate with KEC staff for Facility scheduling in regard to practices, workouts, team functions and special events and organize all game day ticketing for home and away games.Department:

This position requires significant travel and a varying schedule that includes nights and weekends. The home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs. Position is a full-time Limited appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct.
