Job Overview Yard Smart LLC is seeking an experienced Lawn Care & Snow Plow Technician to join our team. This position is intended for someone who already has hands-on experience with professional lawn mowing and landscape maintenance and is comfortable working independently with commercial lawn care equipment. During the lawn care season, the primary responsibilities will include operating commercial mowers, trimming, blowing, and completing routine property maintenance. During the winter season, the position will transition into snow and ice management, including operating company vehicles equipped with snow plows. This is not an entry-level lawn care position. Previous professional or comparable hands-on mowing experience is required. Responsibilities Operate commercial zero-turn and/or stand-on mowers safely and efficiently. Perform string trimming, edging, and blowing to provide a clean, professional finished appearance. Follow established mowing routes and complete properties efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Safely load, unload, and transport lawn care equipment between job sites. Operate company trucks and trailers as part of daily lawn care operations. Perform routine landscape maintenance including hedge/shrub trimming, cleanups, aeration, overseeding, mulching, and related services. Assist with landscape and hardscape projects as needed. Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance. Operate snow plow trucks and snow removal equipment during winter weather events. Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, equipment, and work areas. Communicate professionally with customers and other team members. Identify and report property damage, equipment problems, or other job-site concerns promptly. Required Qualifications Previous hands-on lawn mowing or professional landscape maintenance experience is required. Experience operating commercial zero-turn, stand-on, or similar mowing equipment. Ability to trim around landscaping, buildings, fences, trees, and other obstacles without causing property damage. Experience safely operating trucks and trailers. Valid driver's license with a clean and insurable driving record is required. Must be eligible to operate company vehicles under our commercial auto insurance policy. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to safely perform physical outdoor work for extended periods and in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry landscaping materials and equipment as required. Dependable attendance and ability to work with limited supervision. Strong attention to detail and respect for customers' property. Preferred Qualifications Previous professional snow plowing experience. Experience driving pickup trucks equipped with snow plows. Experience towing and backing utility or landscape trailers. Mechanical knowledge and experience performing basic maintenance on lawn care equipment. Experience with additional landscape services such as aeration, overseeding, hedge trimming, mulching, cleanups, and hardscaping. Winter Availability Applicants should be willing and available to work during the winter snow season. Snow removal schedules are weather-dependent and may require early mornings, nights, weekends, and extended hours during snow events. Pay:

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 50.0 per week
