Are you an experienced Senior Supervisor/ Team Leader or Assistant Area Manager looking for your next step in operational leadership? We're looking for a Senior Operations Supervisor to join our Rail Parking Operations team, supporting the delivery of high-quality services across multiple locations within the Southern network. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in parking, facilities management, security, retail, transport or customer focused operations who wants to take on greater responsibility, develop their leadership skills and make a real impact every day. As Senior Operations Supervisor, you'll be a visible leader supporting frontline teams, maintaining high standards across sites and working closely with the Contract Manager to deliver safe, reliable and customer-focused services. The role will involve regular travel between sites across locations from South London, Surrey, East and West Sussex info Kent area's with use of a rail pass. If you're someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, adaptable and leading from the front, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll be doing Your role will include: Lead the day-to-day operation and performance of a defined sites, taking ownership for service delivery, KPIs and operational standards. Manage, coach and develop Civil Enforcement Officers, conduct performance reviews, absence management, investigations and return-to-work meetings. Plan people, rota's and annual leave to maintain operational flexibility and contract coverage. Helping new colleagues settle into their roles through effective onboarding and training support. Carrying out regular site visits to maintain high standards of service delivery, customer experience, signage, equipment and site presentation. Monitoring operational standards, identifying issues and helping implement improvements. Supporting shift planning, annual leave cover and operational requirements. Working with the Contract Manager to resolve challenges and improve performance. Ensuring services are delivered safely, professionally and in line with company standards. Supporting customer enquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive experience. Maintaining accurate records, reports and operational information. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who can combine operational experience with a positive approach to leadership. You'll ideally have: Experience in a Supervisor, Team Leader, Area Assistant manager or senior operational leadership role. Rail Pass provided Experience supporting and motivating frontline teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships. A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support your team. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites. Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office. A full UK manual driving licence and the flexibility to travel. Experience in any of the following would be an advantage: Parking operations, Facilities management, Security services, Rail or transport operations, Customer service environments & Compliance or enforcement roles.
