Overview The Director of Operations provides operational leadership and support across all Boys & Girls Clubs of the Wausau Area locations. This role works closely with Site Directors and organizational leadership to ensure consistent operations, strong site performance, high-quality youth experiences, and effective implementation of organizational priorities. The Director serves as a coach, collaborator, and problem-solver while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement across multiple locations. Responsibilities Leadership Establish staff goals that support organizational outcomes and fulfillment of the Club's mission. Oversees day-to-day operations at Club locations, including supervision and support of designated staff, program implementation, and health and safety protocols. Provides leadership and supervision to designated staff and volunteers; oversees facility, equipment, and transportation operations. Maintains partnerships with parents, schools, businesses, and community organizations. Outcomes Ensures program areas provide a safe, positive environment that supports the organization's mission and desired outcomes. Ensures quality and consistency across all Club locations. Ensures the proper conduct, safety, and professional development of designated staff. Monitors, collects, and evaluates data to measure program impact, participation, and progress toward organizational outcomes. Staff Development Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of designated staff. Assigns and monitors work performed by designated staff and volunteers, providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations. Identifies and supports training and professional development opportunities for designated staff and volunteers. Ensures proper recordkeeping, data collection, and accurate reporting of strategic measures and outcomes. Health and Safety Ensures all Club locations are properly supervised, maintained, and secured. Oversees the management of Club facilities, equipment, and supplies. Communicates and documents all health and safety concerns in a timely manner.
Pay:
$56,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
