Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Working Crew Foreman to lead field operations and work alongside a crew of approximately 2-4 employees. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a jobsite, operating equipment, communicating with customers, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is strictly a field-based position . The ideal candidate is a go-getter who is motivated, dependable, able to work independently, and looking for a long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside crews of approximately 2-4 employees Provide day-to-day direction and keep crews productive and on task Perform grading and general site work Operate equipment including excavators, mini skid steers, dozers, zero-turn mowers, and other jobsite equipment Perform landscaping, excavation, utility work, and related field duties Evaluate jobsite needs and determine the best approach to completing assigned work Maintain quality and productivity standards Communicate professionally with customers and clients while on site Address customer questions and provide updates regarding work being performed Work independently and make sound decisions in the field Take ownership of assigned projects from start through completion Help train, guide, and hold crew members accountable Maintain a professional and respectful jobsite Be willing to step in wherever needed to get the job completed
Schedule:
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week . Candidates must have a flexible schedule, as workdays may range from 10-12 hours depending on projects, weather, workload, and customer needs .
Qualifications:
Previous experience leading small field crews preferred Experience with grading, excavation, landscaping, utility work, or related field work Experience operating excavators, mini skid steers, dozers, and zero-turn mowers Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership Must have a valid driver's license Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Must be able to pass a background check Must be willing to work outdoors and perform physical field work Must be interested in long-term employment and growth We are looking for someone who can lead from the front , work alongside their crew, set the pace, solve problems in the field, and make sure the job gets finished the right way.
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
