Essential Functions/DutiesObserve, follow and maintain a safe working environment.
Collect orders from designated area and prepare for the pulling process by reviewing order document for special instructions and determining how to address.
Use order document to fulfil order using scanners and material handling equipment (when necessary) to select the appropriate product listed.
Once complete order has been assembled, take it back to the workstation to package and prepare for shipment (packaging, boxing, palletizing, shrink-wrapping and labeling as appropriate).Ensure packaged order is taken to shipping area and placed in the appropriate lane, table, etc.
Count/verify stock using various methods including via scanner, scale, manually or using computer. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and escalate discrepancies or errors. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. CompetenciesAbility to maintain positive relations within all levels of the organization.
Ability to communicate, present facts and provide recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with or without direct supervision as well as independently or in a team environment.
Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism while under pressure and in the face of adversityAbility to prioritize and work with accuracy under stress.
Physical/Cognitive DemandsThis is largely a physically active role including walking long distances (over uneven surfaces) to/within our production facility, lifting 50lbs or more, and standing for long periods. Position also requires bending, stooping, squatting or standing as necessary. Cognitive abilities required include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral comprehension, oral expression, problem sensitivity, written comprehension, and written expression.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand.

This position will involve detailed record keeping, analyzing data/information, having the ability to work independently or in a team environment, critical thinking, and using good judgment in decision-making.
