About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Order Processor to join their growing team in Irvine. This is an onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity offering the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in SAP , processing high-volume customer orders, and providing exceptional customer support throughout the order lifecycle. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, sales teams, warehouses, and freight carriers. Key Responsibilities Process and confirm customer purchase orders using SAP Support Regional Account Managers with order-related activities Provide customers with pricing, order status updates, product information, tracking details, and proof of delivery Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Review and validate part numbers, pricing, and order accuracy Handle returns, cancellations, shortages, backorders, and replacement requests Generate shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and commercial invoices Coordinate with freight carriers and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery Process and audit invoices while maintaining accurate order documentation Maintain customer records and product information within company systems Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of experience in sales order processing, customer service, account coordination, or a related field Experience using SAP required Experience processing customer orders in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Preferred Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments Experience coordinating freight shipments, including FedEx and LTL carriers Experience creating bills of lading and commercial invoices Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy College degree preferred but not required Why Apply?
