Job Description
HOS Global Foods is dedicated to delivering high-quality food products with efficiency, accuracy, and safety. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team and support daily operations. Summary The Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, assembling, wrapping, and staging customer orders using warehouse management systems and material handling equipment. This role is essential to ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfilment. Key Responsibilities Utilize scanners and the WMS system to accurately pick items for customer orders Build pallets according to order specifications and company standards Operate an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) and wrapping machine to assemble, wrap, and stage pallets Perform inventory restocking and assist with cycle counts as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse Properly dispose of waste and damaged goods in accordance with company procedures Assist with other warehouse-related duties as assigned Required Technical / Functional Skills Experience using WMS scanners, barcode systems, or similar inventory management technology Experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) Experience in inventory restocking and cycle counting Required Behavioural Skills Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs repeatedly during an 8-hour shift Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Spanish proficiency is an asset) Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime when required Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications & Certifications EPJ Certification Forklift Certification OSHA Certification First Aid Certification House of Spices Inc.
