Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Management, EDI & Allocation Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. The Order Management, EDI & Allocation Coordinator supports the daily processing of customer orders, EDI transactions, and inventory allocation. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure orders are accurate, properly allocated, and processed for timely shipment. Order & EDI Coordination Monitor incoming EDI orders and ensure they are accurately received in the ERP system. Review orders for accuracy, including SKUs, quantities, pricing, and requested ship dates. Identify EDI or order discrepancies and coordinate with the appropriate team to resolve them. Maintain accurate customer and order information in the ERP system. Inventory Allocation Allocate available inventory to customer orders based on availability, priorities, and requested ship dates. Monitor inventory shortages and backorders that may impact fulfillment. Coordinate allocation priorities with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations. Update allocations as inventory availability or order priorities change. Order Fulfillment Monitor open orders through release to the warehouse. Communicate order status, shortages, or potential delays to the appropriate teams. Assist in resolving order holds and fulfillment issues. Support accurate and timely order processing and shipment. Reporting & Support Maintain basic reports for open orders, allocations, backorders, and EDI exceptions. Assist with resolving order and inventory discrepancies. Provide general support for order management and operational projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in order management, customer operations, inventory, supply chain, or a related role preferred.
- Experience working with an ERP or order management system.
- Familiarity with EDI is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
