Job Description
Bishop & Company is searching for a temporary Supply Chain Clerk for 2-3 months to for an excellent client.
FUNDAMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates, updates, and maintains master data records and material/vendor catalogs in company's data management systems (i.e., SAP) Coordinate with requestors, warehouse, vendors, and freight transport companies for the transportation/shipping/delivery of goods, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment, and other miscellaneous items. Handles email, fax, and phone inquiries regarding order status and other related Division/Department inquiries. Initiates follow-up on status of orders with vendors and expedites urgent requests for items. Updates acknowledgements, price and delivery information and other pertinent data. Works with Accounts Payable, vendors, and requestors to resolves purchase order and invoice discrepancies including price, quantity, unit of measure, conditions, surcharges, description, etc. Prepares and inputs requisitions, receiving reports, and Service Entry Sheet information as necessary. Perform a variety of clerical work including reviewing, reconciling, tracking, monitoring, processing, data entry, preparing reports and communications, ordering and maintaining office supplies, and maintaining/updating files, records, Company bulletin boards, etc. Occasionally substitutes for and/or relieves other clerks. Performs all work in lower classified positionsOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs similar and incidental duties as required. Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $20-23/Hr. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
