Location3604 WILDER RD, BAY CITY, MI, 48706-2126, United States Job CategoryWarehouse, Forklift Employee TypeFull Time Required DegreeHigh school Manage OthersNo Minimum Experience1 Year Description Overview This position is responsible for the completion of customer order requests and the loading of product onto delivery trucks and/or customer vehicles. Responsibilities Receive incoming inventory and placing product in proper bin locations Restock bins when empty or near empty Maintain accuracy in customer order picking Generate customer Bill of Lading (BOLs) from the accounting system to ensure customer orders are prepared for delivery Picking "will-call" orders for customers Attach appropriate Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDSs) to proper shipping documents Assist in kitting of bulk products as directed by supervisor Maintain cleanliness of warehouse Assist in maintenance of exterior surroundings due to inclement weather; snow shoveling, salting of parking lots, etc. Follow all company safety guidelines Other tasks as assigned Competencies Communication Self-motivated Timeliness Integrity Teamwork Hours This is a full-time hourly position with the potential for overtime. Dress Code Company provided uniform and steel-toed/composite boots with annual boot and glove stipend. Requirements Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift 50 pounds routinely throughout assigned work schedule as well as roll a 55-gallon drums onto skids. The employee must have the ability to be on their feet for 6+ hours daily and be able to work in both cold and warm conditions. The employee must also be able to drive a fork truck and push/pull pallet jacks.
