Job Description
As a vital part of Walmart Inc.'s e-commerce operation, the Online Order Filling Team Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their online orders accurately and efficiently. Working from our advanced fulfillment centers, associates use cutting-edge technology and systems to fulfill shopper requests, preparing and packaging items for shipment directly to customers' doors. In this role, team members must blend attention to detail with speed and service, ensuring that all orders meet Walmart's high standards of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Retrieve customer orders and prepare them for delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality of each order. Operate various warehouse machinery and equipment (after proper training) to fulfill orders, including pallet jacks, and forklifts. Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is maintained and stored appropriately. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe and clean workspace. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize the order filling process. Handle customer inquiries related to orders, when necessary, in a courteous and efficient manner. Required Skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to operate warehouse management software. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Effective communication skills.
