In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment using advanced warehouse equipment, including reach trucks and cherry pickers. Your expertise in inventory management, safety protocols, and heavy equipment operation will ensure efficient order fulfillment and seamless warehouse operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties Operate cherry pickers and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently to retrieve products from designated storage locations. Use barcode scanners, RF (radio frequency) scanners, and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders. Ensure proper manual handling techniques are followed during loading, unloading, and stock movement to prevent injury. Verify inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies using inventory management systems. Prepare orders for shipment by packing items securely while adhering to quality control standards. Load and unload goods from trucks in compliance with safety protocols and company procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and operational efficiency. Follow safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during heavy equipment operation. Assist with shipping & receiving tasks as needed, including documentation and barcode scanning for logistics. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Experience Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery. Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, barcode scanning technology, and basic math skills relevant to logistics operations. Previous experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving within a distribution or warehouse setting. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling practices. Experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy items safely while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations including inventory control, quality assurance, and materials handling procedures.
