Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Enter customer orders, purchase orders, and related transaction details into company systems with a high level of speed and accuracy.
- Review order documentation for completeness, confirm key information, and resolve discrepancies before processing.
- Support invoice entry activities and help maintain accurate records tied to customer accounts and completed orders.
- Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure orders are released, tracked, and delivered according to requirements.
- Update order status information and communicate changes, delays, or issues to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain organized electronic records for order activity, shipment details, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with shipping and receiving-related data updates to help keep inventory and order flow aligned.
- Contribute to process support across customer management and order processing activities, including adjustments tied to operational system changes when needed.
Operations Support:
+ Assist with material handling, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory + Operate equipment such as forklifts (or willingness to learn) + Support shipping and receiving processes + Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle countsSystem & Process Support:
+ Utilize ERP systems (SAP or similar) for order management, invoicing, and logistics tracking + Navigate multiple stages of the order-to-cash process with accuracy + Support process improvements and cross-functional coordination Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative support role.
- Strong typing and numeric data entry skills with consistent attention to accuracy.
- Experience handling purchase orders, customer account information, and invoice-related records.
- Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable using computer-based order management or data entry systems throughout the workday.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
