Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Generate pick slips based on sales orders or production schedules using the company's order management or warehouse system.
- Track and maintain records of all printed picklists to ensure proper order fulfillment.
- Communicate with the shipping and warehouse teams to confirm picklist statuses and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure pick slips are accurate and correspond to the correct orders and quantities.
- Monitor pick slip queues and prioritize printing to meet shipping deadlines.
- Update order tracking systems to reflect pick slip generation and order progress.
- Assist in identifying and reporting any issues related to order picking or inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of pick slips and related documentation for audit and operational purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., inventory control, shipping) to streamline order processing. Background and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, warehouse, or order processing environments preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, or order processing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and shipping teams.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
