Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity across enterprise systems, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact order processing, delivery, billing, or payment. The Order Management Specialist will support the Order Management Department by validating customer orders, maintaining accurate ERP records, resolving order and billing discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams to ensure seamless order execution from initial purchase order through invoicing and payment. Responsibilities Manage and support the order-to-cash lifecycle from customer purchase order through billing and payment Review and validate incoming customer Purchase Orders against contracts, pricing tiers, part numbers, tax codes, and ship-to information prior to Work Order release Partner with business and manufacturing teams to ensure customer orders are accurate and ready for execution Review and reconcile discrepancies between Sales Orders and Purchase Orders, including customer data inaccuracies, delivery blocks, and invoicing errors Investigate root causes of overdue payments, missing customer Goods Receipts, tax discrepancies, price variances, and quantity adjustments Partner with IT and other internal teams to resolve ERP and system-level issues impacting order processing Manage customer order modifications, cancellations, quantity changes, and shipment rescheduling through timely system and ERP updates Monitor automated ERP billing and invoice upload processes and proactively resolve failures or transaction issues Maintain accurate order capture, tracking, billing, and customer information within SAP and customer EDI/order portals Maintain data integrity within SAP, including SD/MM modules, and related order management systems Generate comprehensive order reviews and maintain accurate operational data to support management reporting Track and support key performance indicators (KPIs), including order accuracy, backlog health, and cycle time Build and maintain proactive cross-functional relationships to identify and remove barriers affecting order execution Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of experience in Order Management, Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Project Management, or a related field Strong knowledge of ERP systems and order management processes Experience with or knowledge of SAP, particularly SD/MM modules Understanding of B2B billing processes and Accounts Receivable Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate transactional discrepancies and identify root causes Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on data accuracy and integrity Ability to effectively coordinate across business, manufacturing, finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously Reasons you should work for us: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
