Job Title:
Picker $18-22 1st and 2nd shift
TEMP CONTROLLED
Job Description This role focuses on accurately picking and handling materials that support cleanroom kit assembly operations in a high-volume distribution environment. You will use pick sheets and RF scanners to locate and count products, load them into totes, and move them through a conveyor system into a cleanroom, ensuring precise quantities and smooth material flow for production. Responsibilities Use pick sheets and RF scanners to locate, identify, and pick products needed by kitting assemblers. Accurately count products, including items that may require separating specific quantities from larger packs (for example, counting 40 items from a pack of 100). Load picked materials into designated grey totes and place them on the conveyor system for transfer into the cleanroom. Support the movement of materials throughout the warehouse and cleanroom areas, including frequent walking and climbing stairs as needed. Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures to maintain quality and consistency. Work Environment The role is based in a cleanroom kit assembly and warehouse facility that is described as super clean, world-class, and well-organized. Team members work in close quarters and must fully gown up to enter and operate within the cleanroom. The position involves substantial walking and physical activity, including standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 20 pounds. The dress and grooming standards for the cleanroom require no makeup, no jewelry, and no long nails to maintain strict cleanliness and safety. Work is performed on structured shifts, including a 1st shift (approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with every other Saturday overtime from about 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) and a 2nd shift (approximately 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday overtime).
