Job Description
The Materials Gatekeeper monitors production lines, inspects product quality, and maintains strict food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Observe rotating assemblies and equipment to ensure steady product flow.
Inspect items visually to meet specific grade and packing rules.
Maintain equipment and storage zones in clean order with general housekeeping, sweeping, and light scrubbing.
Follow USDA rules and company food safety guidelines. Receive and ensure correct materials are scanned.
Accurately record all material movements with scan gun and paper documentation
File and properly archive paperwork to ensure accurate PO receiving. Maintain proper supply of materials to prevent downtime,
All other relevant duties as assigned. General knowledge and use of basic math and computer skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively on a daily basis. Must read and speak English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Ability to be pallet jack certified.
Strong knowledge of warehousing procedures a plus.
