Job Description
Order Picker Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Order Picker for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to accurately select, prepare, and stage products for delivery to customers. Pay Rate $15.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Must work on Sunday and off one day during the week and Saturday , 8 00 am to 5 00 pm or until the job is complete for the day. Order Picker Duties and Responsibilities Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or handheld scanning devices. Organize and stage products for route deliveries according to delivery schedules. Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality and expiration dates. Rotate stock using FIFO inventory practices. Restock inventory and assist receiving shipments as needed. Order Picker Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, order picking, distribution, or restaurant or hospitality experience. Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
