Responsibilities:
Line Inspection & Quality Control:
Check incoming sealed bags or pouches off the high-speed conveyor for defects like torn seals, improper weight labeling, or unreadable expiration date codes.
Packing & Case Building:
Load individual pet food packages into shipping boxes or cartons according to weight and unit specifications.

Palletizing & Stacking:
Stack packed cases neatly onto wooden pallets following precise stacking patterns so shipments remain secure during transport.
Line Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Keep an eye on automated packaging equipment (like box tapers or bag sealers) and alert maintenance or line leads if jams occur.
Material Replenishment:
Keep the work area stocked with packaging supplies such as cardboard boxes, tape rolls, and shipping labels.
Safety & Sanitation Compliance:
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) by maintaining clean work stations and adhering to food safety standards (wearing hairnets, earplugs, and safety gear).

Skills:
6+ months of experience in high-speed packaging, warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing environments. Previous experience working 12-hour shifts or 2-2-3 rotating schedules. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety guidelines, and workplace sanitation standards. Eye for detail to perform quality inspections on product packaging, weight labels, and box seals. Basic mechanical aptitude to monitor automated packaging machinery, conveyor lines, and box tapers for minor jams. Proven track record of reliable, punctual attendance and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience using manual pallet jacks or hand tools is a plus.

Ability to work a 12-hour standing shift (6:30 AM ??? 6:30 PM) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35???50 lbs consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and commitment to working all assigned shifts. High level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle high-speed packaging tasks safely. Ability to understand and follow basic written and verbal safety instructions, work guidelines, and quality standards.
