Job Description Essentra is hiring a Packaging Clerk at our Flippin, AR facility for 1st Shift and the work hours are 8:00am-4:00pm . The starts at $15 per hour. Reports to the Warehouse Manager. The Packaging Clerk is responsible for counting, packaging, sealing bags, and boxing standard packaged parts.
Typical Job Responsibilities:
Checking posted list to see which packaging station the employee is working for the day. Unloading carts of parts and separate by item number of the part. Setting the scale for the part to be packaged. Counting and bagging parts in a predetermined amount. Sealing and labeling bags. Boxing parts and sealing in a predetermined size box. Packaging customer-ordered parts as specified by the customer's order. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain a clean and safe work station/ environment, complying with procedures, rules, regulations, and safety guidelines. Communicate with team member and management, participating in problem-solving, and providing feedback/ recommendations. Complete Quality training at the appointed time. Perform related job duties as needed and assigned.
Qualifications:
Possess basic computer knowledge/comfort with using computers Have ability to do repetitive work, stand for long periods of time (sometimes 100%), and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities which include close peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Be able to perform physically demanding work, such as reaching, standing, walking, pushing, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending.
