The Opportunity This role supports general manufacturing operations by performing a variety of production and material‑handling tasks across multiple departments. Responsibilities may vary by machine, department, and position as employees develop skills and bid into different areas. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient production while meeting customer quality standards. Key Responsibilities Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and instructions from leadership. Set up work areas by gathering materials according to job specifications (corrugated, pads, labels, banding, etc.). Visually and manually inspect cartons for defects in gluing, folding, and overall quality. Pack cartons into corrugated cases according to customer specifications. Label cases and move finished product through the sealing and conveyor process. Sort flat cartons by layout and pack according to customer requirements. Operate hand‑lift jacks to move pallets and position loads safely at working height. Assist in sorting projects and special quality inspection tasks as needed. Read and follow written instructions and respond to verbal directions. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned by shift, department, or plant leadership. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler. Ability to read and follow written instructions and verbal directions. Ability to obtain a forklift license. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
