They will verify the accuracy of orders and ensure they meet quality standards. The receivers prepare items for shipping, label packages, inspect products for damage, and ensure all items in an order are included in each customer order. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receive and process customer orders for shipping from the pulling department. Verify accuracy of orders and ensure they meet quality standards. Prepare items for shipping by packaging them securely. Label packages with appropriate shipping information. Inspect products for damage or defects before shipment. Report all known issues pertaining to the receipt of product intended to ship. Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documents. Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete. Operate shipping equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts. Perform other duties as assigned.
