Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packing Associate to join our bakery production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging bakery products while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your energetic approach will help maintain a smooth workflow, contribute to product freshness, and uphold our commitment to delivering top-quality baked goods to customers. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, safety, and precision are paramount. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently to package bakery products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to packaging specifications Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure proper product handling and storage Use warehouse operations skills to organize and store packaged goods in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow Interpret production documents accurately to verify packaging requirements and batch information Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety protocols, and OSHA regulations Skills Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations and industrial equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with
GMP, FDA
regulations, and CGMP standards relevant to food manufacturing Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and effectively Mechanical knowledge related to packaging equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to interpret production documents, work instructions, and standard operating procedures Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality checks Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments including heavy lifting techniques and safety protocol adherence Experience in warehouse operations, materials handling, and assembly processes within a manufacturing setting Available shift starts at midnight on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Pay:
$24.24 - $29.19 per hour
