Duties Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to the packing system and established SOPs. Verify the correct item, size, color, and quantity before sealing each package. Scan and process orders correctly within the inventory and shipping system. Ensure shipping labels are matched to the correct orders. Maintain a fast and consistent packing pace while minimizing mistakes. Work toward the team productivity benchmark of approximately 120 packed orders per hour per two-person packing station , when order complexity allows. Identify missing, incorrect, damaged, or otherwise problematic inventory and immediately escalate discrepancies to the Packing & Shipping Manager. Keep packed, unpacked, canceled, and exception orders properly separated and organized. Follow AK LLC's inventory procedures so every item leaving the warehouse is properly accounted for. Maintain a clean and organized packing station throughout the shift. Assist with shipping, inventory movement, restocking packing materials, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed. Follow direction from the Packing & Shipping Manager and communicate immediately when an issue could delay fulfillment. Skills Strong attention to detail. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment. Reliable and punctual. Comfortable performing repetitive packing tasks for several hours. Able to follow established systems and SOPs consistently. Comfortable using computers, barcode scanners, shipping software, and inventory systems. Able to communicate clearly when discrepancies or problems occur. Warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or e-commerce experience is preferred but not required.
