In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that every order is fulfilled efficiently and correctly. Your attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to operate various warehouse equipment will drive our success in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your skills in inventory management and materials handling will shine, supporting the seamless flow of goods through our distribution network. Responsibilities Use barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to accurately pick items according to order specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and effectively. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit. Load and unload shipments efficiently using material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, updating inventory management systems, and conducting regular stock counts. Ensure order fulfillment accuracy by verifying items against order sheets and quality control standards. Follow shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation, barcode scanning for logistics, and proper labeling of packages. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems. Skilled in order picking & packing with attention to detail for accuracy and quality control. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, stock replenishment, and distribution processes. Competence in barcode scanning for logistics purposes and using RF scanners effectively. Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment. Adherence to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of all heavy equipment. Experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential.
