Job Description

  • Job Title: Production Associate - Packer (2nd Shift)
  • Job Description
  • Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a Production Associate on the 2nd shift. This role is crucial in supporting food manufacturing operations through packaging, palletizing, labeling, and preparing finished tamale products for shipment. You will thrive in a fast-paced production environment while adhering to food safety, quality, and GMP standards.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Pack tamales into trays, containers, boxes, or other designated packaging.

+ Accurately label finished products according to production requirements.

+ Palletize packaged products for storage and shipment.

+ Stack, wrap, and secure pallets to ensure safe transport.

+ Inspect packaging for quality, accuracy, and product integrity.

+ Move finished goods and packaging materials throughout the facility.

+ Supply packaging lines with boxes, labels, and other materials as needed.

+ Store finished products according to food safety and company standards.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Ability to stand for extended periods. + Perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment with temperatures around 50°F. + Follow all PPE, GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and food safety guidelines. + Experience working closely with food.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Ability to lift 25 lbs continuously, 40 lbs frequently, and exert up to 50 lbs occasionally. + Stand for long periods. + Read and interpret safety and procedure documents in English; Spanish is a plus.

  • The work environment includes a food manufacturing setting with various smells and a wet floor. Employees must be dressed in GMP PPE and be comfortable working in temperatures around 50°F.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $20.

25 - $20.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
