Job Duties:

Receive and inspect all incoming ingredients and packaging materials. Verify shipments against packing slips/invoices and report discrepancies or damages. Label each package with a Kanban card, including expiration date and lot number for full traceability. Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation is maintained to prevent spoilage. Store ingredients in designated areas (dry storage, cooler, freezer) as per specifications. Monitor and log cooler and freezer temperatures regularly to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Report any deviations or equipment malfunctions to management immediately. Prepare and stage all necessary ingredients for daily production based on the production schedule Deliver materials and ingredients to production lines in a timely manner to avoid downtime. Refill pan liners, plastic bags, and packaging materials as needed throughout shifts. Conduct daily/weekly inventory counts of raw materials and packaging supplies. Monitor stock levels to anticipate needs and avoid shortages. Update inventory logs and maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory systems. Generate purchase requests or communicate material needs to the Purchasing Department Track expected deliveries to ensure on-time receipt and staging of materials. Coordinate with production, QC, and warehouse teams to maintain seamless operations.

Requirements:

Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and maintain a sanitary work environment at all times. Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized. Follow signs for hairnets, handwashing, and other standards. Adhere to the designated uniform color code applicable to the work environment. Use equipment, tools, and materials safely and efficiently. Immediately report injuries or accidents to your supervisor or HR. Adhere to safety policies and procedures; attend relevant Food Safety Trainings. Follow FSMA, HACCP, SQF, and all safety regulations.
