Job Description
Job Overview We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Pastry Packer to join our bakery team. In this role, you'll help package our freshly baked pastries, prepare orders, and keep our products looking their best from the kitchen to our customers. This is a hands-on position in a busy bakery where teamwork, cleanliness, and attention to detail are important. You'll work closely with our kitchen team and help wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly. Responsibilities Carefully package and label freshly baked pastries according for our customer orders, and quality standards Check products for appearance, freshness, and proper packaging before they leave the bakery Help prepare customer and wholesale orders for pickup or delivery Assist the kitchen team with simple food preparation and other tasks as needed Keep the packing area, kitchen, and workspaces clean, organized, and sanitary Stock packaging supplies and let the team know when supplies are running low Help move trays, boxes, ingredients, and finished products safely around the bakery Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures Work efficiently while maintaining care and consistency in every order Be willing to jump in and help other team members during busy periods Qualifications Bakery, food service, kitchen, or packing experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a small team Strong attention to detail and pride in doing quality work Able to follow instructions and stay organized in a busy environment Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting boxes or trays as needed Basic counting and measuring skills Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Must have current food handlers card What We're Looking For We're a hands-on bakery, and every team member makes a difference.
