POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the error-free and efficient picking of customer and internal orders and delivering them to the order filling staging area in a way that they can be handled efficiently through the next step in the order filling process. Ensures customer needs and specifications as outlined on pick tickets are followed and met.

HOURS:

Mon-Fri, 7am - 4pm

PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately pick and pack the items and quantities defined on customer pick tickets
• Ensure customer specifications defined on pick tickets are followed during pick runs
• Sequence pick runs by location to reduce travel times through the warehouse
• Clearly mark pick tickets with required info
• Place picked order in staging area
• Meet or exceed job standards for lines picked per hour
• Other duties/projects as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED, 2+ years warehouse experience
• Certified to operate order picker and forklift equipment
• Basic working experience with PC and ERP systems is a plus
• Working verbal and written knowledge of English
• Ability to work error free
