PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for pulling order for customers and load the order for outbound shipment. The duties of this position are those described below. Uses and enforces food Safety working practices ensuring no product is contaminated while handled in the shipping warehouse prior for shipping or when offloading it. Must also enforce and be responsible for making sure to report any conditions or act that might put our products at risk of being contaminated with any foreign materials while following the logistics department Preventive HACCP program and complying with our good manufacturing practices (GMP's) as indicated in our quality system Essential Duties These duties directly and substantially serve to achieve the purpose of the position. Ability to operate powered forklifts, pallet jacks as well as manual pallets jacks and hand trucks. Know and be familiar with all company products distributed by the Rancho plant. Follow all warehouse procedures to insure completion of customer's orders for both Foodservice and retail. Receive all products from production to warehouse for storage including cooling warehouse. If you work in the cooler warehouse you will be responsible for the following: Check & record Cooler temperature and log all product temperature on shipping log. Stage all products from production to assigned warehouse areas. Insure that all procedures are followed to maintain product safety for all customers both Foodservice and retail. As required, perform periodic physical inventories. Maintain work area clean and is required to perform general clean-up of the warehouse. Pull orders out of the warehouse inventories and load them for proper distribution and complete loading work sheet / order reports. Become familiar and ensure compliance with Yum! Balancing :

Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces. This factor is important if the amount and kind of balancing exceeds that needed for ordinary locomotion and maintenance of body equilibrium.

Stooping :

Bending body downward and forward bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.

Kneeling :

Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on level surface.

Crouching :

Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.

Reaching:

Extending hand(s) and arm(s) with full extension of elbow in any direction.

Standing:

To maintain entire body in erect posture without changing location.

Walking:

To move entire body for some distance, moving about on foot.

Pushing :

Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.

Pulling:

Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.

Lifting:

Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles.

Grasping :

Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.

Feeling:

Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.

Talking:

Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.

Hearing:

The act or power of apprehending sound, directions or instructions.

Vision :

Visual inspection of areas to be cleaned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1+ Years of experience on Counterbalance Forklift (Sit-down)/ Electric Pallet Jack (Walkie Rider) / Reach Truck / Order Picker. 1+ years of experience in receiving and shipping required. Standing, Reaching, Climbing, Kneeling, Lifting, Pulling Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Good Math Skills Shift:

2nd (2:00pm to 10:00pm)

Starting Hourly Pay:
