Paid vacation 401K Plan with company match Opportunity for career stability and growth Tuition reimbursement program Responsibilities Production & Packaging Perform production duties including manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, sorting, and stacking of aluminum extrusions. Inspect extrusions for visual defects including surface imperfections, bow, twist, dents, and dimensional discrepancies. Straighten and align extrusions as needed prior to packaging. Ensure bundle measurements, counts, and tags are accurate. Pack extrusions using shrink wrap and other protective materials per specification. Remove spacers and assist with extrusion transfer processes. Assist with loading and staging material for shipment. Quality & Safety Report defective materials, unsafe conditions, or questionable quality concerns to the supervisor immediately. Perform basic visual quality inspections and verify conformance to customer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards). Follow all company safety policies including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout procedures. Comply with company environmental and housekeeping standards. Team & Operational Support Maintain production pace in coordination with team members. Work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environment. Follow verbal and written work instructions. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds independently. Perform assisted team lifts up to 100 pounds. Stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts). Bend, twist, squat, kneel, and climb throughout shift. Reach above shoulder level and below waist level repeatedly. Use hands for power grasping, fine manipulation, repetitive motion, and push/pull operations. Maintain hand-eye coordination for inspection tasks. Visually inspect materials at close range and distance. Must be able to work in hot and noisy environments. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures (especially near presses). Exposure to cold temperatures depending on season. Moderate to high noise levels. Exposure to moving mechanical parts. Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Overtime and weekend work may be required. Qualifications 6 months to 1 year experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Ability to accurately read and use a measuring tape. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Experience using power tools and production equipment preferred. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts as required. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment under varying conditions. The pay for this position is $20.00/hr. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience.
