Duties Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy. Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments with proper handling techniques, adhering to safety protocols and PPE use. Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves correctly, conducting regular stock checks, and updating inventory management systems. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying order accuracy, preparing shipments, and documenting movements within warehouse management systems. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety procedures during manual handling, packaging, and materials handling activities. Support quality control efforts by inspecting items for damage or discrepancies before dispatching orders. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in order picking, packing, and inventory management. Certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, or pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail with basic math skills for order verification and inventory counts. Excellent communication skills to follow safety protocols and collaborate with team members effectively.
