Additional Compensation Details:
Starting wages at $18.50 per hour Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Job Description The Role (Shift AM) The Packer is responsible for packing and labeling produce according to client specifications while maintaining a clean, sanitary work area. The Order Builder picks and palletizes customer orders in a refrigerated warehouse environment (average 34 degrees).
Key Responsibilities:
Packer Pack and label produce with speed and accuracy, distinguishing product types by color, size, and weight for appropriate packaging Verify packing reports for quantities and special packaging requirements; apply UPC labels as needed Lift and handle produce repetitively up to 50 lbs Maintain a clean work area and comply with all safety and food safety procedures Document packing activities and report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisors Perform additional duties as assigned Order Builder Build and stage customer orders on pallets using WMS system guidance, maintaining a minimum of 150 boxes per hour Perform quality control checks on all orders for accuracy, completeness, and product condition before staging Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, 2-way radio) in compliance with safety procedures Communicate inventory discrepancies, stocking issues, and equipment maintenance needs to supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to all warehouse safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets and deadlines Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to ensure workplace safety and operational efficiency Qualifications Required Skills and Experience Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • up to 6 hours per day Work in a refrigerated environment, average temperature 34 degrees Ability to communicate with team and supervisors Ability to work independently Ability to follow written or verbal instructions Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams Hand and finger movement is required frequently to pack produce and distinguish produce types Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack Must speak some English Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
