Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of PreK students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position offers valuable experience supporting young learners and collaborating with educators in a vibrant and supportive environment. You'll have the chance to work closely with PreK students, utilizing your expertise and creativity to help shape their communication skills during these foundational years.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure Experience in a school setting, particularly with PreK-aged children Strong understanding of therapeutic approaches and individualized education plans (IEPs) Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings and assessments for PreK students to identify speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district standards Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and services Offer support, resources, and training to school staff and families, fostering a positive learning environment This in-person position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year.
