Assembler /
Packer Payrate:
$18 ~ $19 / hour, depending on experience
Hours:
7:00 am ~ 3:30 pm (Monday ~ Friday)
Language:
Read, write, and speaks fluent English. Bilingual Spanish is a plus! Summary This position is responsible for properly preparing parts, packaging, and labeling all products to customers as well as any items requiring shipment to a specified destination.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review work sheet for special picking / packing instructions
  • Examine the product to ensure that it is the correct part number, configuration, and free of damage
Picker:
  • Prepare products for packing
  • Inspect die cut parts and remove web, pills, and other loose materials that are not part of the finished product
  • Inspect slit rolls for particles, strings, and other foreign materials. Clean as necessary using appropriate methods
  • Cut and sort parts into specific groups based on work sheet instructions
Packing:
  • Pack all orders in appropriately sized bag / box / container base on order size and /or customer instructions
  • Recheck completed box to ensure parts are packed correctly, and quantity matches the order
  • Label cartons with appropriate information
  • When product is taken from inventory; verify inventory counts and balances
  • Seal cartons after order is reviewed and confirmed by Shipper, QA Engineer, or other designated personnel
  • Prepare shipping method based on instructions from Shipper
  • Prepare and stage product on carts for shipping to customers
Other Duties:
  • Report all equipment or process problems to supervision immediately
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, ensure safe operation of equipment, processes, and related employee safety requirements.
