Full Job Description Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring quality control and net weight accuracy of all mushrooms received, as well as maintaining accurate records of the different products packed for each customer. Additionally, participates in the packing process, ensuring that orders are prepared according to each customer's specifications. Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in food production, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred. Basic math skills. Ability to perform counts, verify weights, and complete simple calculations. Ability to identify product quality issues. Ability to meet established standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to support different areas of production as needed. Role and Responsibilities Inspect all mushrooms received to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain accurate daily records of products packed for each customer. Pack products according to customer orders and specifications. Support packing lines as needed. Communicate effectively any changes, operational needs, or situations that may impact the production process.
Knowledge / Skills
/ Abilities Strong communication skills. Ability to perform basic calculations related to production and packaging. Ability to identify quality issues in received mushrooms. Proactive, solution-oriented attitude in the workplace. Physical Demands Ability to work in temperatures between 34°F and 37°F. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. Ability to bend, stoop, and move as required by the job. Work Environment Maintain professional behavior at all times. Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment with all team members. Maintain a high level of coordination, focus, and attention in the work environment.
