Every portion that leaves this plant has to be right. Right size, right cut, right look, every single time. That is where you come in. We are looking for someone with a sharp eye and steady hands to help our packout team turn raw product into portions our customers can count on. The Role As a Food Packaging Associate, you will inspect, sort, weigh, and package portioned product as it moves through our line. You will catch what does not meet spec before it ever leaves the building, and you will help keep product flowing smoothly from start to finish. No experience with our equipment is required. We will train you on our systems, our standards, and what great product looks like. What You Will Do Handle incoming product with care, keeping it moving and free of damage Inspect portioned product for the right cut, size, and appearance Sort acceptable product from anything that needs rework Weigh product and check that portions land in the required range Recover and rework product the right way, cutting down on waste Package finished portions, checking count, weight, and presentation Follow every food safety, sanitation, and safety standard on the floor Keep your work area clean, organized, and ready for the next shift Speak up fast when something needs attention, and pitch in wherever the team needs an extra hand What It Takes Comfortable following written and verbal instructions Ready for repetitive, fast paced production work A sharp eye for spotting quality issues before they become problems A team first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or a modified schedule when production calls for it No prior experience required. We will train the right person Schedule & Pay This is a full time, hourly role running 4:30 PM until finish, with two 30 minute breaks built into the shift. Most days run on a steady rhythm. Some will call for a little extra, and overtime or weekend coverage may be needed based on production demand. Pay is competitive for the area and reviewed regularly. Specifics are shared during the interview. Work Environment You will be on your feet for extended periods in a refrigerated food production environment, working around cold temperatures, wet floors, moving conveyors, and production equipment. Safety gear is provided. You should be comfortable with repetitive hand and arm movement and lifting materials associated with normal production activity. Ready?
