Warehouse/Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse/Material Handler to join our team. This role involves staging orders and supplies for shipping, quality checking for accuracy and damaged inventory, and eventually operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment. Responsibilities Stage orders and supplies for shipping. Perform quality checks on orders and supplies for accuracy and damage. Utilize RF scanners and pick sheets for order management. Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment. Ensure accurate order picking and staging for loading onto trucks. Conduct quality inspections of inventory and orders outbound to customers. Use internal inventory systems for order picking and shipping. Engage in part-time delivery duties after training and ride-alongs. Essential Skills Experience with material handling and forklift operation. Proficiency with RF scanners and other warehouse equipment/systems. Ability to pick and stage orders for efficiency and accuracy. Skills in quality inspection, inventory accuracy, shipping, and receiving. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor, packaging, kitting, and pallet jack operation. Work Environment You will work both in delivery and warehouse settings, with a schedule that includes deliveries in town on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and warehouse duties on Tuesday and Thursday. The typical work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to cover vacations as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
