Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Packaging Production Associate to join a busy manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for preparing, cutting, assembling, and organizing packaging materials used throughout the production process. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hands-on production environment and can maintain a consistent pace while paying close attention to measurements, quality, and safety. This is a physically active position in a hot environment that requires standing for extended periods, handling materials, and working as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare packaging supplies for the production process. Cut, fold, score, assemble, and modify materials according to specifications. Measure materials and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and proper fit. Use basic hand tools and equipment to prepare and assemble materials. Stage and organize materials so they are readily available to production personnel. Inspect packaging materials for damage, defects, or quality issues. Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality and safety standards. Follow production instructions and measurements accurately. Move, stack, and organize materials within the production area. Work with other production team members to maintain workflow and minimize production delays. Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or a similar hands-on environment needed. Familiarity with basic hand tools and production equipment. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable working with measurements and basic dimensions. Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce accurate work. Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-paced production environment. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Experience working with cardboard, corrugated materials, packaging, or similar materials. Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but not required.
