Starting Pay:
$15.00 per hour About the Position Bonus Tech Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, and highly detail-oriented Aircraft Parts Packing Associate to support our aircraft engine teardown operations. This position is responsible for preparing aircraft engine parts and components for packing, storage, and shipment. Because we handle customer-owned and serialized aircraft materials, every part must be carefully scanned, verified, protected, and associated with the correct documentation before the packing process is completed. This is not simply a box-packing position . The person in this role must pay close attention to part identification, quantities, system information, packing lists, crates, and supporting documentation. We are looking for someone who takes the time to make sure the job is done correctly, recognizes when information does not match, and communicates discrepancies rather than making assumptions. Key Responsibilities Pack aircraft engine parts and components according to company procedures and customer requirements. Scan parts accurately before and during the packing process. Verify that scanned materials correspond to the correct engine, customer, project, box, crate, and packing documentation. Review part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, descriptions, labels, and other identifying information when applicable. Enter and update packing information accurately in the company system. Verify packing lists before completing or releasing boxes and crates. Compare physical materials against system information and documentation to identify discrepancies. Immediately report missing parts, incorrect quantities, identification issues, damaged material, or other discrepancies. Do not assume or substitute information when something does not match. Ensure each component is appropriately protected and packaged according to its size, weight, condition, and handling requirements. Use appropriate packing materials to prevent movement or damage during storage and transportation. Carefully organize parts inside boxes and crates. Pay close attention to crates, ensuring the correct materials are placed in the correct crate and properly documented. Confirm that boxes and crates contain the correct materials before they are closed or released. Apply labels and identification to boxes, crates, and packed materials as required. Maintain proper material segregation by engine, customer, and project. Assist with preparing packing documentation and box/crate information. Maintain accurate electronic and physical packing records. Keep the Packing area clean, organized, and safe. Work closely with Tagging, Shipping & Receiving, Quality, Customer Service, Teardown, and other departments. Follow company safety and material-handling procedures. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should demonstrate: Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Ability to carefully compare physical materials with lists and system information. Ability to perform repetitive tasks without losing accuracy. Good computer and data-entry skills. Ability to use scanners and learn internal systems. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Ability to notice and communicate discrepancies. Willingness to stop and ask questions when something does not look correct. Ability to follow established procedures consistently. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple boxes, crates, and packing priorities without mixing materials. Dependability and punctuality. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience in the following areas is helpful, but not required: Packing or packaging Shipping & Receiving Warehouse operations Inventory control Order fulfillment Material handling Manufacturing Quality inspection Aviation or aerospace Aircraft parts or MRO operations Barcode/RF scanning Data entry or warehouse management systems Aviation experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. What matters most is that you are careful, dependable, willing to learn, and committed to completing the work correctly. What Matters Most in This Role Scan and verify Scanning a part is only one step. The information must be checked to make sure the correct material is being packed under the correct engine, customer, box, or crate. Never assume If the quantity, part information, documentation, packing list, or system information does not match, stop and report the discrepancy before continuing. Pack each part correctly Aircraft engine components vary significantly in size, weight, shape, and condition. Each item must be properly protected and secured to reduce the risk of damage. Check the box or crate before closing it Before a box or crate is completed, confirm that: the correct parts are inside; the quantities are correct; the information in the system is correct; the packing list is accurate; the materials belong to the correct engine/customer; everything is properly protected and organized.
