Duties Carefully pack and prepare items for shipment using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse Use barcode scanning systems and RF scanners to accurately track inventory and process orders within the warehouse management system (WMS) Assist with order picking by selecting products efficiently using handheld devices or manual methods, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, stock rotation, and cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to manual handling procedures, and operating heavy equipment safely Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments with proper documentation Experience Previous warehouse experience or similar logistics roles demonstrating familiarity with warehouse operations and distribution processes Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers; certification in forklift operation is preferred Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order quantities Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, manual handling, and PPE use Experience in packaging, materials handling, shipping & receiving, quality control, and load & unload procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory accuracy Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in warehouse distribution!
