In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing meat products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality control. Duties Carefully pack meat products using proper knife skills and packaging techniques to preserve freshness and quality Operate machinery and equipment related to meat packing, ensuring mechanical knowledge is applied safely and effectively Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols Assist in meat cutting processes, ensuring precise cuts and portioning according to specifications Follow food safety procedures throughout the production process, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of products Conduct regular sanitation checks of work areas and equipment to uphold hygiene standards in the food processing plant Support team members in meeting production goals while adhering to all safety regulations Requirements Prior experience (1-2 years) in manufacturing, food processing, or meat cutting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, sanitation practices, HACCP protocols, and food safety regulations is highly desirable Ability to operate basic machinery used in food production environments with mechanical aptitude Strong knife skills for precise meat cutting and portioning tasks Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Commitment to maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with food industry hygiene requirements Join us in creating safe, high-quality meat products that delight customers worldwide.
