Veterinary Hospital Intake Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Intake and Discharge patients into the hospital after providing health and wellness consultations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls and assisting customers with their inquiries or concerns.
• Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations.
• Conduct outbound calls to follow up with customers or to promote new products or services.
• Accurately enter and update customer information in the database.
• Utilize phone etiquette to ensure professional and courteous communication with customers.
• Upsell products or services to maximize sales opportunities.
• Handle customer complaints or issues, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve department goals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze customer needs effectively.
• Proficient in data entry and navigating computer systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales experience or the ability to upsell products is desirable.
